About Kingdom of Chimor
A kingdom on the north coast of Peru, home of the Chimu culture. Its capital Chan Chan was the largest adobe city in the Americas. Chimu metalworkers were renowned for gold and silver craftsmanship. The Inca conquered it around 1470 and relocated many of its artisans to Cusco.
