About Grand Duchy of Lithuania
Once among the largest states in Europe, stretching from the Baltic to the Black Sea. It was the last pagan state in Europe until Jogaila accepted Christianity and married into the Polish crown in 1386. Lithuanian and Polish forces defeated the Teutonic Knights at Grunwald in 1410. It merged into the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
