About Qin Dynasty
The first dynasty of imperial China, which unified the warring states in 221 BC. It standardized writing, currency, weights, and axle widths, and linked earlier walls into a northern defensive line. Legalist rule was harsh, and books were burned. Its first emperor was buried with the Terracotta Army. It collapsed soon after his death.
