About Serbian Empire

A short lived medieval empire proclaimed by Stefan Dusan, who was crowned Emperor of the Serbs and Greeks in 1346. He issued a famous law code, Dusan Code. Serbia briefly became the dominant power in the Balkans. After his death in 1355 the empire fragmented under regional lords and fell to the Ottomans.
