About Viking Age
Not a single empire but a civilization that transformed Europe. Raided, traded, and settled from Newfoundland to Constantinople. Discovered America 500 years before Columbus. The Varangian Guard served the Byzantine Emperor. Normandy in France was given to them to stop raids. Their longships could navigate rivers and cross oceans.
